Artist's Statement/Commentary:

My name is Luna Mondesi and this piece was originally an idea I had during the beginning of the pandemic. This painting takes place in my room. I was struggling with my mental health and wanted to capture the visual representation of what I felt was going on in my head. Constant conversations, overthinking, self-doubt, and being overwhelmed. The unfinished faces represent the thoughts that cause me to overthink the most. These thoughts are what scare me yet at the time I put little effort into fully thinking those thoughts through.
